Stone Canyon church of Christ is a community of believers who wish to serve and please God. When we worship, teach, live, and speak we look to the Bible to learn how He would want us to act. We love Him with all that we are and dearly love our fellow man. We hope you will come visit us soon.

Our Mission
Stone Canyon church of Christ has only one goal: to glorify God. We do this in various ways. We worship Him only in the way He has asked us to while putting on a heart of sincerity. We share the teachings of Jesus with others. We live in the way that matches those teachings. And we encourage and lift up fellow Christians daily. We admit we are not perfect, but we do our best and pray God will forgive our failures (and has told us He will).
Our Beliefs
At Stone Canyon, we believe God is the creator of the universe. He made man in His image so we would be like Him.
But man sinned and broke his pure relationship with God. When we sin even today, we break our relationship with Him. So, in order for God to join us back to Him, sin must be removed.
To do that, God the Father sent His Son Jesus to die for us. His gracious sacrifice will save us if we are willing to die with Jesus by turning from our sinful life, confessing our faith in Him, and being immersed in water.
As people saved by God, we are added to His one church so that we can worship Him, grow in our knowledge of Him, and teach His word to others.
We believe this because it is what His word teaches. The Holy Spirit revealed God's mind to us so we could follow Him. We do not believe any teachings about God if it's not found in the Bible.
So...don't believe this just because we said it, but let's look at God's word together! That's where the answers are.

Welcome! A resident of Owasso, I have attended Stone Canyon church of Christ with my wife and two children since we opened the doors in 2012. I have served as both a deacon and an elder. I enjoy teaching Bible classes and strive to keep our members informed, utilized, and unified in accordance with God's word. Please come to worship with us so that we may grow together in grace and knowledge.

Hello! My wife, Margaret, and I were raised in Oklahoma City. We moved to Tulsa in 1971. Together we have raised four children. I became a member of the Lord's church when I was twenty years of age and have been blessed to serve as an elder for over twenty-five years. We welcome you to visit us at Stone Canyon soon.
Leon Wilburn
I have been a member of the church for about seventy years, served as a deacon or elder for over 40 years. I was one of the original members of what is now the Stone Canyon church of Christ. I enjoy meeting those who visit our services, whether from our community or just passing through. I look forward to visiting with you and hope to make you feel comfortable while you worship with us.

Hey there! I grew up in Collinsville, OK, graduated from TU. My wife, Amy, and I have been married 24 years and blessed with three wonderful, faithful children Sam, Libby, and Joey. My occupation is in the automotive industry. I enjoy teaching Bible class and assisting in the duties to run our worship service. I hope you will visit us soon as we “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness”.
Shawn Pribble
Greetings! I was a deacon at East Central church of Christ and moved with the congregation to this new location at Stone Canyon, continuing my service. I help with the audio/video and computer equipment at the building. Also, I make sure the duties are covered at each service and help with building maintenance. I have my own custom cabinet shop. My wife, Kim, and I have 3 children--Alex, Rachel, and Sam.
Phil Wilburn
Hello! My wife, Rebecca, and I grew up in Tulsa and worshiped at the East Central church of Christ. When the congregation moved to Owasso, we gladly made the move as well. We have been members of this congregation for most of our lives. My wife and sons, Andrew and Peter, love being in Owasso and we invite you to visit us at Stone Canyon soon.

Hey! I am the most recent addition to this bunch. I moved here in October 2019 from Springfield, IL where my dad and I started a church together. It is my passion to share God's word with others.
